Senior Auto Door Engineer
Location: London & surrounding counties
Salary: £18.50–£22.50 per hour, depending on experience

TSM Technical are currently working with a growing specialist engineering business who are looking to add an experienced Senior Door Engineer to their team.
This is a varied field-based role covering automatic doors, commercial door systems and access control, with responsibility for installation, servicing, maintenance, fault-finding and repairs.
The company is looking for an engineer who is confident working independently, takes pride in their workmanship and can provide a high standard of service to customers.
The Role
- Installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of automatic and commercial door systems
- Fault-finding and diagnostics across door and associated electrical systems
- Working with access-control systems and associated equipment
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance
- Attending breakdowns and resolving faults efficiently
- Working independently on site while supporting other engineers when required
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and customer service
- Completing relevant paperwork and job reports
- Working safely and in line with relevant industry standards
About You
We're looking for an experienced Automatic / Commercial Door Engineer with:
- Strong hands-on experience within the automatic or commercial door industry
- Good fault-finding and diagnostic ability
- Experience with access-control systems
- A strong electrical and mechanical understanding
- The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Good customer-facing and communication skills
- A professional approach and pride in the quality of your work
- Full UK driving licence
