Industrial Door Engineer – London & Surrounding Areas
Salary: Up to £20 per hour (£46,800 basic) + Door-to-Door Pay + Overtime + On-Call
TSM Technical are currently recruiting on behalf of a growing specialist within the entrance systems industry.
Our client is looking to appoint an Industrial Door Engineer to support their expanding customer base across London and the surrounding areas.

The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for the service, maintenance, repair and fault finding of industrial door systems across a range of commercial, industrial and customer sites.
Experience working with gates and barriers would be highly desirable, although this is not essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong industrial door background, a good technical understanding and a willingness to work across different entrance systems where required.
Key Responsibilities
• Service and maintenance of industrial door systems
• Fault finding, diagnostics and repair work
• Carrying out PPMs and reactive maintenance
• Identifying and completing remedial works
• Ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently
• Providing a professional service to customers
• Completing all required paperwork and documentation accurately
• Participating in the on-call rota
• Working independently across customer sites
Candidate Requirements
• Previous experience as an Industrial Door Engineer
• Strong knowledge of industrial door systems
• Experience in servicing, maintenance, repairs and fault finding
• DHF Industrial Door qualification desirable
• Experience with gates and barriers is desirable but not essential
• Strong technical and problem-solving abilities
• Full UK driving licence
• Positive, professional and customer-focused attitude
• Willingness to travel across London and the surrounding areas
