About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Architectural Technologist to join an established, multidisciplinary design team based in Lincoln. In this pivotal role, you will lead high-profile schemes and collaborate on larger complex developments across a diverse portfolio, including Healthcare & Pharmaceutical, Commercial, and Heritage sectors.

This opportunity is ideal for a confident technical professional looking to drive projects from initial concept through to practical completion while delivering technical design solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership & Management: Take ownership of individual projects as the lead technologist while collaborating effectively within wider team structures on large-scale developments.

  • BIM & Technical Design: Produce, manage, and coordinate detailed 3D Revit models, technical drawing packages, and BIM data across all RIBA work stages.

  • Documentation: Prepare comprehensive production information, technical specifications, structural detailing, and schedule packages.

  • Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as a key point of contact, liaising directly with clients, local planning authorities, structural/MEP consultants, and site contractors to resolve technical challenges.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all design packages strictly adhere to UK Building Regulations, planning requirements, and CDM Regulations.


Key Requirements & Qualifications

  • Software Proficiency: Advanced working knowledge of Autodesk Revit, complemented by a strong background in technical drawing standards and BIM workflows.

  • Education & Experience:

    • Degree in Architectural Technology (CIAT accredited or equivalent) with relevant industry experience, OR

    • HNC/HND qualification paired with 5+ years of practical experience in a similar architectural technologist role.

  • Regulatory Expertise: Deep understanding of current UK Building Regulations, planning permission procedures, and CDM Regulations.

  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving capabilities, high attention to detail, and confident communication skills for client-facing and multi-consultant environments.
